Beta pinene, also known as Rosemarel, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C₁₀H₁₆ and belongs to the monoterpene group. Beta pinene is characterized by its distinctive woody, pine-like scent and plays a significant role in fragrance and personal care applications. Industrially, Beta pinene is primarily produced through the fractional distillation of turpentine oil, which remains the most widely used method for its extraction and refinement.

How Quality Beta Pinene are Created
Produced through the distillation and fractionation of natural terpene sources such as gum turpentine obtained from pine resin. First, pine resin is processed to extract crude turpentine, which contains several terpene compounds including alpha-pinene and beta-pinene. The crude turpentine is then subjected to fractional distillation to separate individual terpene components based on their boiling points.
